Don’t feel stupid if you don’t like what everyone else pretends to love.

I make myself rich by making my wants few.

Hi, I'm Laura Willers, a slow living writer, photographer and consultant based in the East of England, UK. I write about interiors and create photographs that capture a slower, more intentional lifestyle and home.

I am passionate about a life lived authentically and creating the space within which people can live life on their own terms. I'm attracted to simple canvases; neutral decor that can be layered with your own personal touches to allow for intentional living that is authentic to you and your personality and the products and accessories that support this.

Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.
— William Morris

On the blog I write about living slowly, focused on creating your own authentic space to live the life you choose; concepts that you can use as building blocks for shaping your lifestyle, creating the physical interiors around you to live in and approaches to filling those interiors with the objects and possessions that will be beautiful and add to your happiness.

There are two ways to have enough: One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
— G.K. Chesterton
